Details

The memory device is a serial EEPROM 95c160, 95c320 or 95c640 in SSOP8 package.

The expected file size is 2048, 4096 or 8192 bytes.

Use a TMPro chip, a PCF7936 transponder, or a remote key with PCF7946.

⚠️ To program a remote key, open the key and inspect the PCB.

You will find 2 SMD chips: one PCF7946 (14-pin SMD) and a smaller chip, which may have 8, 10 or 16 pins.

• If the smaller chip has 10 or 16 pins, program the key as Type 1.
• If it has 8 pins, program the key as Type 2.

❗ If the remote buttons work but respond incorrectly (e.g. lock button opens the trunk), it is not a TMPro software problem. Use a different type of remote.

The software displays a 5-digit PIN code.

The written transponder is programmed and ready to start the vehicle.
